I got into weight training in 2016 after not completely liking what I saw in the mirror. While my weight was "normal" I was what you call "skinny fat". This is where you don't have much muscle with a decent layer of fat on top. You are soft and squishy with no muscle definition. At about 30% it was no wonder! lol.
So anyway I thought about the "what ifs", what was my body capable of? What could I achieve if I truly wanted it?
Well I found out!!
I did 1 hour x 3 days a week, changed my diet slight so I created a calorie deficit (flexible dieting) and lifted heavy!
After 8 months I had lost 8kg and got to about 19% body fat. As you can see that is only 1kg a month, fatloss is really slow. I chose to do it slow as I did not want to drastically cut my calories, which I know for me is completely unsustainable.
I am all about creating something sustainable for you.
Results are all about consistancy and adherance, there is no point starting something only for it be unsustainable due to many reasons.
