Discuss how much you want to be part of the experience, whether you are looking some someone to prepare some meals, or if you want to be hands on and be a part of the whole process
You can set it up to have friends over like a workshop which can be lots of fun!
You can be somewhere else like taking kids to their after school activities or you are at work. You can organise a key for us so dinner can be heated up when you get home and you can have a couple of days worth of meals if you want also.
Examples of what you can have
Mary is busy with kids after school so often gets home late and doesn't know what to cook for dinner so often just pulls convenience food out of the freezer or orders takeaway.
Mary tells us about what is happening in her life and say she wants someone to come over once a week to start with. So she tells us she has lots of meat in the freezer and a pantry full of things and would like to start using things up. She would like to add more variety in her diet. She would love to be able to make homemade curries as the bought ones are always too spicy. So a list of curry ingredients is provided so Mary can get everything that is needed. In that 2 hours we make 3 different curry pastes from Thai to Indian, plus homemade naan bread. We cook 2 of the curries plus turmeric and lemon rice for Mary to eat during the week plus she now has a curry paste in the freezer for later use.
Not only has Mary had food cooked she has also learnt how to make it herself for future use. We cook extra rice so Mary can then make some egg fried rice with peas, celery and capsicum later on in the week. We teach MAry how to cook extra of thing and how to reuse them to make great leftover dishes. This saves money as well as time i the kitchen.
Annie is not really interested in learning to cook, she hates it and just wants 3-4 nights worth of meals cooked for her and her family while she does some paperwork at home or takes her kids to after school activities. Now and again she comes in and asks about things and we are happy to talk about the food! Annie mainly wants in house cooking done for her using up her ingredients, She like this as it uses all her favorite brands plus we can use up whatever she has in her pantry.
Martin is a single guy who loves food and cooking but also works a lot. He would love to have a couple of friends over and learn how to make pasta, sauces, mayonnaise and dressings as well as getting over his fear of cooking fish, he always overcooks it and can never get it right. So we make 3 different fish dishes including a fish curry, plus some nice salads where we can use our homemade dressing and mayonnaise on them.
So as you can see we can cater to whatever you want. Cooking to save time, to learn, for health, how to have more variety, how to save time in the kitchen and more!

A 5 hour service is available too to those who need more time. During this time we do a supermarket tour as well and do the shopping then go to your place and cook! We can sort through your fridge and pantry too!
