Welcome!
I'm Dinielle Farquharson and I've been in the field of nutrition since 2006, and I don't do diets!
I have a Bachelor of Health Science (nutrition)
I also have qualifications in remedial massage and personal training, so I can help with all aspects of your health!
Does this sound familiar?
Have you struggled with your weight all your life?
Perhaps you are someone who has tried every diet out there?
The cycle goes: you start a new diet, you have restricted a few foods that you no longer can eat, you lose a little weight and go ok for a while but it never lasts.
You end up obsessing over those foods you cannot eat, you are hungry, feel deprived but you keep telling yourself it's ok. Eventually you can no longer go with willpower and you cave and eat everything in sight.
You end up putting the weight back on. You now are overcome with guilt and shame, and feel like you failed.
Does this sound familiar?
Yes? then read on!
So what is a non-diet approach?
Focusing on your relationship with your behaviors/habits around food.
Provide a safe environment for people of all bodies and working towards your individual non-weight related goals if that’s what you are wanting.
Lots of listening and asking plenty of questions. You know you and your body better than anyone. Whilst I have a large amount of insight and advice, I want to understand each individual person and your unique needs before giving you the low down. There is no one size fits all going on here!
All foods can be a part of your life, there are no foods off limits. There are no good or bad foods. Instead of you listening to all the fear based diet advice out there, I prefer to help you navigate through this info, myth bust and teach evidence-based information so you can make an informed decision.
It’s also important to me that you realise the role of pleasurable eating has on not just body health but mental health. I absolutely love food and eating, I love it all!
I won’t be mad or disappointed if you make a mistake. I don’t even like calling these stuff ups a mistake to be honest. Stuffing up is really just a chance to learn, it’s all part of the normal process.
I expect you to not get it all right, we are all human after all. Instead of feeling disappointed I like to get curious about what’s happened, but more importantly why its happened.
Then we come up with different options for you. There are many ways to skin a cat and different tools in the tool box!
Follow up appointments are the opportunity to discuss and troubleshoot any areas or issues you may be struggling with and for giving you new ideas. Follow ups can be used to talk about anything that’s going on in your life that may have an impact in your nutritional decisions. It’s a safe space to vent all your frustrations!
Even though I may be a non diet nutritionist, I’m still a nutritionist! Depending on your individual needs, nutrition may be more or less emphasised in your session. Health and well-being is not just about the food we eat. It’s also about stress management , sleep, hydration, exercise, social connections, body image, mental health… these are things are all aspects of self-care.
So weather you’re working towards a better relationship with food or wanting to understand how to better nourish yourself, my goal at Forever Nutrition & Health is to provide the support and guidance you need so you can clarify what health means to you- On your own terms.
Are you ready to break up with diets once and for all?!

Are you ready to break up with diets once and for all?!
Are you not getting the results you desire and are getting frustrated?
Are you really confused as to what you should be eating?
Are you over trying all the weight loss diets and fads and think there has to be a better way?
Do you want to feel comfortable in your own skin?
Are you looking to start an exercise program, lifting weights and don't know where to start?
My job is to assist you in:
Understanding how your life experiences, including thoughts emotions and behaviors, intertwine with the way you eat.
When you begin to understand the connection between them, you will become aware that you have a choice.
It is so important to understand our "why".
Can we change habits?
Can we modify behavioral and lifestyle issues?
Can we modify our environment to help us succeed?
The answer is, YES!
Yes we can!
My job is my life and I'm very passionate about it.
Always remember, everyone started somewhere!
